I have now decompressed from my long visit to New York City. Now, I'm already ruminating - where next? My younger sister who lives in the U K has already booked her flight to Sydney for May 8, 2020. We are planning to visit my older son, his wife and my grandchildren. I am still browsing for a decent fare.
This is a good site, I am looking into:
New York City is a very diverse, vibrant city; a city welcoming immigrants; a city visited by world travelers; a city full of history; a city where you can get blissfully lost. A place where you can ride the train or bus. A place with restaurants galore (from all parts of the world). New York City is also a city where you can find accommodation and transportation to suit your budget. Welcome to my blog on New York City (a city, I visit often and enjoy).

Fall is fast Approaching in NewYorKCity
I got back to Indianapolis about a week ago and just realized that Fall is fast approaching in the mid west.
It was a full three weeks in New York but I lived in Long Island City, NY. I would either hop on the ferry and cross the East River and walk up on 34th Street on to Times Square and different places or catch a train.
Grand Central Station was quite an experience. I changed platforms many times, missed stops way too many times but I enjoyed traveling to Woodside, NY and Jackson Heights. This time, I did not go back to China Town.
Well, to remind you and myself, I am looking at this to save my skin:
I did step on the wrong ferry and was on my way to Wall Street. I have been there before but this time, I had other sights in mind.
