It's Sunday in New York City

Reminiscing my many visits to NYC and Long Island City this morning. I loved walking along Lexington Avenue and pop into some cosmetic stores.

This is a good time to start checking it out; ahead of Thanks Giving Day, ahead of Christmas, and of course ahead of New Year's Day; by the way, Times Square; my favorite spot in New York City is the place to be:

Queens

Many years ago, my actual stay was in Queens in 2004 and 2006. Queens is a significantly large area of multicultural diversity. It's a residence for immigrants that's very vibrant despite the havoc caused by Hurricane Sandy of October 29, 2012. My revisit in 2015 surprised me; Queens and areas affected by the storm had rebuilt to attract tourists from around the world. My last trip in the Summer of 2016 was across the East Rive to Long Island City. I took a walk, popping in to look into east Indian stores. As always, I'm always in need of small towels to wipe off dust and grime from skin when I get too hot and sweaty.

As you know, the urban High Line Park is an amazing transformation of the old railway tracks. I loved to take that long walk on The High Line. Fall in the United States of America

It's officially Fall in America. I am looking forward to seeing the leaves turn yellow, gold, and then brown. Even though it means Winter is fast approaching, you've got to take care of your skin: I love using Baby Wipes to wipe off makeup and dirt from my skin, at the end of the day!!

Missing Long Island City

It's been a year since I visited my niece in Long Island City, NY. I loved this place along the bank of the East River. I often took the ferry across it to Manhattan; a significant hike to Fifth Avenue; and on to Time Square. The High Line Park - a must on your "do" list

When you are in New York City, The High Line Park. It's simply spectacular; it's off Gansevoort Street in the meat packing district of Greenwich Village. I thoroughly enjoyed the long walk in perfect sunshine. There were tourists galore. Flowers bloomed along the trail. Shops and restaurants along the way.
